This playlist features many of the eclectic pieces I have composed for film and video over the years. Some were made for small budget short films and docs, some for online brand videos or internal corporate series for tech giants, some were made for high end broadcast TV commercials, and some were just made for funsies. Please reach out if you are interested in licensing anything in the library or if you’d like some bespoke music for your next project!

Lead With Who You Are is a show exploring what it means to leverage the power of your own strengths and break the status quo by leading as your truest and most aligned self.
I produce the podcast with my colleague Dia Bondi, and composed the theme and interstitial music.

BLAMMOS are a catchy but quirky indie pop/rock band with lots of vocal harmonies and snarky but heartfelt lyrics. Maybe you saw them play that one time? Was it at an emerging artists showcase at SXSW or CMJ Music Marathon? How long can someone be an “emerging artist,” anyway?
About 20 years, apparently.
Arthur Adams started BLAMMOS a long time ago and never gave up on it. Sure, he spent a good 15 years touring the world as a robot in space punk band The Phenomenauts, and had a full time career as a professional composer and filmmaker. But BLAMMOS was always there. Doing an occasional tour, putting out an occasional single, making an occasional award-winning music video, and for the last 10 years or so, occasionally working on a new record.
This new album, Sometimes I Wish You Were Dead, is the clearest vision of Arthur’s songwriting and the band’s music ever committed to tape. It features a sound and snarl inspired by late 70s new wave and power pop like Elvis Costello, The Pretenders and Squeeze, songwriting and harmonies reminiscent of 60s groups like The Zombies, The Beach Boys and (going out on a limb here) The Beatles, and not so subtle nods to the early 70s bedroom pop of Macca, Nilsson and Rundgren. The album’s 10 tracks find Adams and his musical partners Joelle Jaffe and Jimmy Boom weaving upbeat, harmony-filled tales of broken relationships, fallen friends and how much they just LOVE tough guys.
Laugh, cry, and dance all the way to the grave with BLAMMOS’ brand new album, Sometimes I Wish You Were Dead.
“The dapper gents and lady in San Francisco’s BLAMMOS specialize in well-crafted slices of ‘60s rock, pop and soul… The band isn’t merely a recreation of the sound of a bygone year, though, and benefits from a winking sense of humor and sly sensibility that is very much of our time.”
- Santa Cruz Weekly
“Sometimes you just have to get a song stuck in your head. BLAMMOS make that an easy thing to do.”
- Pacific Noise
“BLAMMOS borrows from several pop-rock traditions… To his credit, however, Adams transcends his influences to create a sound all his own… At one moment he's an introspective balladeer; the next, a scofflaw with an axe to grind.”
- Seven Days
“BLAMMOS sounds like a combo of Elvis Costello and Firewater, with maybe a smidge of the Jam thrown in. Good stuff for fans of indie pop.”

Heartbreaking harmonies, a dirty Tele, and a dose of cheerful nihilism.

Here’s some homemade electro-pop music I made under the moniker PENTECOSTALS. Mostly a recording project, though I did one small West Coast tour in 2015 and performed these songs as a one man machine band. Sold out of all the cassettes I made, so I consider that a victory.

The bravest and most handsomest space band in the universe, from Earth’s Capital, Oakland, CA. I am a robot. Beep bloop blorp.

These jokers. I produced this album with them, and occasionally tour as their fifth Beatle. Plus I’ve made a few hilariously awful music videos for them. They’re ridiculously talented, and seriously the most fun band on the planet.

Spurs make beautiful alternative folk music and I’m lucky that was able to produce and perform on their debut album. Singer-songwriter David Stockhausen is a longtime friend and collaborator, and was the drummer in my first ever band 20+ years ago.

For 5 years I lived in the illustrious and sorta famous music house, Strange Manor. Every fall we would get together as a house and record a Christmas album full of our takes on famous holiday classic, obscure yuletide bangers, and seasonal parodies of popular songs. There are ten albums in total, but I produced, engineered and performed on volumes 6 - 10 from 2012 - 2015. If you’re sick of the same old holiday drivel, give these bad boys a spin!
I have been spinning vinyl records on the radio and in clubs off and on for almost 25 years. These playlists represent a DJ residency called LISTEN TO THIS! that I started in 2019 where I would spin a completely different genre (or genres) of music every month. Coming in at 3 hours+, these playlist are the perfect soundtrack for your house party, clambake, or sock hop.
